Microneedling is a collagen-induction treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This stimulates your body’s natural healing response, boosting collagen and elastin production for smoother texture, reduced pore size, and a more even skin tone over time.
Most sessions take about 30–45 minutes, depending on the treatment area and whether you’re adding an enhancement like PRP or PDGF.
You can expect mild redness for 24–48 hours, similar to a light sunburn. Most clients return to normal activities the next day. We’ll walk you through personalized aftercare at your appointment.
Both are growth-factor boosters that can be added to your microneedling treatment to accelerate healing and amplify results. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is drawn from your own blood, while PDGF is a topical growth-factor serum. Neither is required to benefit from microneedling — they’re optional enhancements our providers can recommend based on your goals.
